Cover in EEA countries is limited to a total of 30 days per Period of Insurance, excluding
the Home Country where that country is in the EEA. The EEA is defined as the European Union
plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein
Insurance Premium Tax (IPT):
IPT is a tax on premiums received under taxable insurance contracts within the United
Kingdom. The student product will incur a 12% tax charge on the final premium.
Underwriting:
This Policy is subject to simplified underwriting. This means that all Pre-Existing Medical
Conditions are excluded from the Policy.
This Policy includes a mix of medical and non-medical benefits; as such, any Non-Medical
Expenses claims which arise, that can be shown to have originated before the Commencement
Date, will also be excluded.
Only new conditions, or circumstances that give rise to a Non-Medical Expenses claim, that
occur after the Commencement Date are covered by the Policy (subject to any specific waiting
periods).
Suitability:
This product is suitable for foreign nationals resident in the UK, enrolled in a part-time or
full-time educational course and for whom study is the primary reason for living in the
UK.
